This title is unfortunately a concept that applies to a lot of people. I understand that everyone has double standards to a point because as human beings, we’re reluctant to recognize our own flaws, and sometimes hold others to a much higher standard than ourselves.

To me personally, this track is about the double standards I’ve seen of a lot of people that talk about loving and respecting others, but end up hating and disrespecting other people. I’ve seen it a lot in the music scene as well; someone talks trash on someone else for not enjoying a band they like, and then saying that doing that is a bad thing when they’re at the other end of it.
